Yes, I think so! I found this on a Forum : From an article on Edmond Siclet (French Lamborghini importer) last year in a French magazine (can't remember which one at the moment), the car had been stolen with its transporter on a motorway halt and never reappeared since. The driver of the car once had a site where he was hosting some pictures and asking for news. IIRC the car was built from a wrecked miura and had some good results ont the french national scene. Incidentally, this car authorizes the Miura owners to enter the Tour de France Historique. The driver was Thierry (?) Gore.

When Armand Esters wolked to Ettore Bugatti in his Molsheim-Villa to order one of the amazing Bugatti Royal, the car -unsuccessfully- destinated for the Kings & Queens on this planet, Ettore was sceptical about the not-blue-blooded Monsieur Esters. Ettore asked him about the specifications he wanted for the car. "....ah... and don`t put headlamps on it - I never drive at nights!" Pleased about this excentric behaviour Ettore Bugatti accepted the order and Monsieur got the car - without headlamps! So, "old" story Ferruccio told! Ciao! Walter
Wow!............If that was mine, I would not even think about parking it outside in the elements and under trees!

Joe: is this the one that the owner sent back to the factory for "repairs and upgrade" and what they did was take the vin plates of the one sent to them, put them on a new SV with the same colors and sent it back to Venezuela? What happened to the original chassis/car? Alberto
Yes I have read the same... no doubt when restored it will be claimed a "factory-special". Joe www.joesackey.com
interesting to see the countach restyling that never came to production: it does not look "that good" but different and unique!
