I wonder that the ex japanese owner made his decision to sell his SVJ.. But i am not surprised by the price given by Autosalon Singen.
Heres some images of mine (P400) prior to going to Terry Hoyle for some minor work, I've had it for approx 3 weeks but today was the first day I've actually have had the time to drive it...... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is there another 70's road car in that price class? What would be a comparable? I mean, you could buy 2 Daytona spiders for that, and have enough money left over for an SV. Seems a tad expensive.

Ha ha, I have that kit... My dad has the following still in box untouched - http://www.escalemodels.com/Reviews/has-hc14.htm Needless to say the Miura car captivated me in my youth. I did a brief stint ogling the Countach but have long since got past the hormones of adolescence. Actually I do still have a nice poster of an early Countach (pre stuck on plastic) with some lower profile tires and a BBS mesh rim of sorts. Anyhow, BACK TO THE MIURA...
Looks like it was just made at Bertone SpA.... although its worth mentioning that all Jota modifications were done at Sant Agata Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Joe, are there any fresh or out of studio pics of ex-shah's #4870. I feel like crying of joy every time I see pics of that car. What would be its value today, having in mind its history and extensive restoration proces. Anything close to this #4990 Jota or less? TIA, Mirza
there are "rumors" in Europpe of an SVJ sold for A CRAZY amount of money .....but until someone shows proofs they are just that: rumors
Not a rumor Emilio. Remember too, the parties concerned (seller/buyer) are not really interested in proving anything one way or another, and I doubt they care. Look at the ask price of 4990 at $4.1 million US. It got to that point based on something... dont you think?
