Hi, The "slats" on the front hood on this one are similar to the ones on 4458. The owner of 4458 once told me that 3-4 cars were originaly delivered this way? It is strange too that 4458 also has Jota-type lights? Philippe Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
4458 (S) - Modification by privateer (Tony Ercker, Germany). 4806 (SV) - Modification by privateer (Armin Johl, Germany). 4920 (SV) - Modification by Factory for delivery to Italian client based in Padua. Joe
classic. Was it a prop that was destroyed for the movie? i believe it was just a bodyshell, but even so whether a fabrication or an actuall factory shell i dont know, lets hope the former.
Actual P400 minus the engine. For years people would climb down that steep hillside and pick up Miura bits & peices (or so they say). Joe
The Miura is on my Top Five wish list. The Miura is stunningly beautiful and as glorious to look at now as it was forty years ago. Far nicer than the Countach, Diablo, and Gallardo. I would love for the chance to drive in one.
Thanks Joe....after seeing the Italian Job pic, I've had Matt Monro's voice in my head all afternoon!
How about a price list of those days ...? I mean how anoyne would choose other thing instead of a MIURA ?
Anyone have a spare shift knob for a Miura SV? Impossible to find, it should be like this one from my own car with the shift pattern on top but either wood or leather-covered base is OK. Thanks for any info: [email protected] Image Unavailable, Please Login
Geez, if YOU can't find one, the wood and leather must have morphed into unobtainium over the years! But, I'll keep my eyes open.
