4986 on its way to "Toto70_0" or just sold to its new owner and leaving The Netherlands, I like orange for an SV (or LP400)!
Joe, I did some research and confirmed my findings with someone you know very well, who's probably one of the most knowledgeable people in the Miura world. Second series Miura S's differ from early Miura S's in many aspects, to list few: -Constant velocity joints instead of universal joints. -Ventilated disk brakes front and back. -Upgraded front air dam same as SV. -Larger rocker panels like the SV. -Front framework upgrades. -Differential flanges are different. -Rear axle flanges are different. -SV rear caliper upgrades. Furthermore, here is a picture of the inside of the rocker panel on 4764 showing body number 583 stamped on it ( sorry, picture upside down). 4689 has it too. Take my word on it. Yes I agree on most of the second series P400S upgrades. And I absolutely take your word that 4764 and 4689 have the bigger side sills. But this was not a feature of all the late (second series) P400S as has clearly been shown already.
Fair enough. I love it when we agree on something. Even though lately it seems like we've been doing a lot of that.
I agree! Just to reassure you that I'm not just being stubborn, here are 4824 and 4836. Both LATER cars than yours. In fact these are within the last handful of P400S production, effectively when SV production had already begun. When they were imaged, they were in original state (one has since been restored). Note original slimline P400S side sills/rockers. I am aware of another handful of late "S" similarly appointed. So, lets just say that your cars are special Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's one that looks like mine, and honestly if not for the grill inside the rocker I can't tell them apart. I think the angle of the picture has a lot do with it. I agree, my cars are special Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you Lorenzo! I had heard of this car many times but never seen it. It looks to be in very nice condition and looks decidedly un-messed with. I understand it has barely 25,00km...
The car looks very nice, probably repainted once. Sounds good and the interior is perfect, but I don't remember how many km it has... Lorenzo
