  1. No, he can, and he speaks it quite well (all things considered).

I've actually met him in person.

But he just chooses not to when speaking officially on TV, radio, on interviews etc.

I get it. I mean, if English was my second language, I wouldn't want to do an interview when every word is dissected by talking heads on the interwebs. It's just a comfort thing.

Wow Dodgers go up 3-0 and pretty much control the entire game. Surprising. Great pitching by the Dodgers and some awesome defensive plays. Freddie is on FIRE. Ohtani isn't Ohtani.

But the Yanks have gone cold.

Reminds me of the first World Series I ever remember, 1963, when the Dodgers swept the Yankees in four straight, mainly due to superior pitching. Will it end tonight? Even if it doesn't, I don't fancy the Yankees' chances.

Yes, and I guess the Mets should feel good about having taken two games. And it supports my theory that the Mets had a good chance at the WS crown if they had been able to get past LA.

Since this could have happened in this game, since the Dodgers' first five runs were all unearned: If a pitcher gives up no earned runs but his team still loses the game, is he still considered the "losing" pitcher? That seems very unfair.....

There are several situations that yield an unfair stat result. A more common example is a closer blowing a save, and getting the win because his team comes back in the bottom of the ninth.

After 5-0, I started looking for flights to LA for game 6, what a crazy game, I need a day off to recover!

  10. Things my 8 year old nephew can do better in Little League than the Yankees.

    1. Catch a fly ball in dead center field.
    2. Cover first base as a pitcher on a ball hit to the right side of the infield
    3. Throw to 3d base from the shortstop position

I watched quite a few BB games this year. Maybe 60 or so. I don't recall any of these: a dropped ball in the outfield on an easy fly ball, a pitcher forgetting to cover 1st base, and a bad throw to 3rd when there was absolutely no reason to.

    And in the same inning?

The Yankees in general played very bad defense the entire series while the Dodgers were the opposite.

Ohtani probably needs shoulder surgery and STILL the Yankees figured out a way time after time to get him to 1st.

The real World Series was the Mets -Dodgers. Mets would have waxed the Yankees too.

I guess the bad defense (although that inning was horrible) wasn't a surprise to Yankees fans I know. Didn't know this, but they were the 3rd worst team in the AL for fielding. I'll take it!! GO DODGERS!
