    i poured mobil 10-40 in my 95 355 what do you guys think is that ok for this hot wheather im in burbank ca???????????????anybody have somthing beter
    i got 12ks on this thing................

    Ahh, but the aroma, the aroma..

    Actually, do you remember when racing Castrol was really made from castor oil? Track days just don't smell the same...

    Hah! I used to get some "sponsorship" from Castrol USA. I'd fill out a requisition form for product before the start of a season. I got several cases of Castrol "R" 30 weight and "R" 40 weight, along with GTX, gear lube and some grease. I didn't drain and flush after a test and smoked the rod bearings in a small Fiat-Abarth engine at Sebring in 1991. Gave the rest away to some motorcycle people, but GAWD, did that stuff smell GREAT!

    Those cars were still running in 91?? Maybe it had something to do with you winding that poor motor to about 9500!! I change mine every third year whether it needs it or not! hey Peter.
