I built a regular rc helicopter years ago... it took me 6 months to build and 30 minutes to crash. A regular 5 channel heli is hard enough to handle... I can't imagine dealing with an extra turbine throttle servo.

I believe turbine motors require different fuel than regular motors.... two motors... two gas tanks... two throttles.

Hi nick i also use'd to fly heli's and had a few crash'es to,used to take it home in dustbin liner tip it out and re-build:D,im sure they fire these jet heli's on propane gas then switch over to liquid fuel for saftey reson's,would like to see on of these in flight the sound must be so good.

LOL! Knew a guy who did the same thing back in the mid-80's...his chopper was airborne for less than 5 minutes before its impending doom!

If you haven't flown RC helicopters before and want to learn without too much damage. Buy Realflight RC simulator from Greatplanes, its available from towerhobbies.com. Become good at that and it will set you up with the basics to be able to fly the real model. Version3, really good for Aircraft and Choppers. Gas turbine models are featured on the program.

    Happy flying

    Jam.

Aerofly Professional has better graphics and better scenery to fly over. I have both and Aerofly is 10X better. I have spent hours on both trying to fly the choppers and just get depressed because it's SO friggen hard! I can fly planes with my eyes closed, but with choppers, it's a whole different ballgame.

Have the same problem with choppers, have always stuck to the planes myself as well.

I'll check out Aerofly, does it have all the good Aircraft as well?

Oh God ya! There are two jets you can fly around the US. When you get good, you can land the jet on top of one of the towers on the GG bridge, fly through streets in Hollywood, buzz the Colorado River Canyon, do tight turns around the Space Needle in Seattle! All kinds of planes and gliders. Simnply a hot program!

Nice looking plane! Please check out my company at www.performancedevices.com for RC crystals. I assume you use 36 or 72 MHz.
