As a Ferrari Virgin, wondering when they have traditionally switched over to the next model year for factory builds. I'm thinking it might be after the Summer break, but curious about any changes to 296 for 2025. Guessing that would only be changes in standard equipment and or prices, but still curious when we might see those.

Pricing is all that ever really changes. You are correct that sometimes they offer a few items as standard equipment that were options before. But that’s just to help ease the pain of the price increase. I think it’s usually August/September for the model year but not sure.

My incoming car is a 2025 and started production last month (currently in status 70 - testing). I was surprised but the VIN decode doesn't lie.

Mine hasn't entered production yet, so probably a 2025 with a price bump.

Model year in the vin is a US fantasy to try to sell more cars !

To be clear, my incoming car I’m referencing is a Roma Spider. Perhaps they are handling each model’s changeover differently? I love the idea of getting a 2025 for resale but have anxiety about what kind of price increase is going to get dropped on me as a result…

I may be BSing myself, but I'm thinking that anything more than a modest increase will be met with resistance. The economy in the US is slowing and Ferrari has captured the "mark up" with their recent price increases....

My point is it should be an R (2024) or an S if it changed

I did some more research and found

The "Model Year" is only used on versions for North America, Middle East, Latin and Central America, and China., explains my tenth digit being 0
