Although I was an avid model builder and collector 40 years ago, I've sort of lost touch with the hobby.

So, I'm seeking your opinions and advice on the following:

    1. Are Burago 1/43 models considered to be good quality?

    2. Can you recommend a builder qualified to dismantle, repaint and reassemble a limited edition BBR?

    Many thanks.

    Jack

Don't want to offend any one, but BBurago's are old and terrible quality..
I don't know what modell you are thinking of, but there are better ones available..

If the BBR has a guarantee certificate, contact BBR , or Gasolinemodels.. if not...there are several good builders around..

I agree that Bburago's have nothing to do with anything you would call a quality kit, but they always did nail the overall shape of the car quite well.

+1. Adding paint, detail and better wheels can transform a Bburago into something quite decent. But unless you're looking to build something that isn't available from other manufacturers why bother.
