I've had my 458 spider about a month and I'm wondering if we still get the model.On two of the three 458's I've already had,the models were at the dealer before the car arrived.On one of them I never got the model and on the FF the model showed up in the mail about 3 months after the car was delivered. The dealer was not sure if Ferrari is still sending models on the spider as the car is to new for anyone in the states to have had one for 3 months. Anyone out there know....

 

Can't say for the Spider but my 2012 458 model took about 3 months.
Did your dealer contact FNA?

 

Mine just showed up about 2 months after I got the car. The dealer had it. I stopped in and they gave it to me. You might want to check with your salesman.

I didn't think I was getting one and then--- there it was.

I received my model and sent it back to the Chairman. I can buy more impressive models at meets

 

Duh. Not really the point, is it?

You mean they don't send me a beautiful woman in the mail when I get the car? I want my money back.

Mine came about 3 months after the car was delivered with a nice note from Ferrari. Nice touch...I love it.

 

Finally after 5 months the model of my spider showed..Every detail is done perfect including cavalino on headrest.It came to my house..Now I know they are still sending them..Thanks Ferrari

 

After almost 5 months from delivery it showed up last week by courier to my house.
matches my car exactly and came with 2 nameplates and nice display case.

I was touched when I received mine with the letter from Ferrari welcoming me to the family. Isn't that good customer relations?

 

It is great customer relations when you think of it in the context of when was the last time you spent $300k for a model? Can't wait to get mine!

 

I think the model distinguishes Ferrari from other brands. It's more of a marketing tool than a gift. The net result is that it makes me look forward to giving them more of my money in the future.

 

I think it is a nice touch! I still have my VIP book from my F430 Spider!
