    I will be driving through Alessandria Italy around early July on my way to Monaco. Modena is about 130 miles from Alessandria, or 260 miles - I assume the factory will be closed so no opportunity for tours - is it worth the detour at this time of year?

    Everything else should be open eg museum restaurants - look out for the wonderful Maranello for creme puffs thread for full details of the opportunities - its mainly August that everything closes as I recall
