When was the company founded? / How many years were they in operation ? 3. What was their specialty ? 4. Was there a connection to Luigi Chinitti Motors ? / I saw on the internet that Luigi Chinitti Motors was at 790 Eleventh Ave. In Manhattan and in Greenwich, CT. Modena Racing Co Inc was the official USA Lamborghini concessionaire from circa 1971 to 1975. Alfredo Pedretti & Alberto Caiti founded the company and ran it from the address you posted. I'm not sure what their connection to Luigi Chinetti was besides being peers. I owned Pedretti's 1971 Miura SV 4884 and so I spoke to him on the phone at length about it. Thank you Joe. Now that I know who these two gentlemen are, I can continue to work on this puzzle. When I get home, I will post a picture of one of the lamborgini/modena racing books with the motore # in it and find out who purchased that automobile and where it may be located at./Tony
Joe did you ever talk to Pedretti about my fathers car? I still cannot locate pictures from the Modena Racing/Lamborghini stand from NY Auto Show.
