Inspired by some of the amazing, modern motorhomes around, I was looking
this weekend at some Camper Trailers to see if any of them are done up in
an ultra-modern way. To my disappointment I saw almost none of them are.

The idea was to get some brand names and models, and search for used ones
that are a couple of years old but still amazing. But they all look the same,
like that ol' "country charm" look, light oak, etc..

    Here's what I like.... http://www.generalcoach.on.ca/brochures/Phantom.pdf

Can anyone recommend some Brands that look amazing, but may also be available
used? From what I can see, almost all brands look identical inside. Although the
Mobile Suites people had a decent one. But all their used ones look typical.

    Thanks!
    Wes

Yes, it looks like a cool way to start and the configurations appear to be almost limitless. I like the off-road capability and the fact that it can haul ATVs and motorcycles. A/C is a plus as well.

If ya got the funds, buy an older Airstream and hire a decorator/builder to refurbish the interior.

Tillman beat me to this - those shells don't ever seem to wear out.

For what it is worth, I had a 30' Streamline (aluminum aero-shell like an Airstream) for the 4 years I was in College, and it was far cheaper than living in the dorm. It was also a pretty cool pad.

**** WARNING **** Your pipes will most certainly freeze if you do not keep your propane tanks filled in the winter.
