I'd have loved to see some other classic livery done too, I'm not that adept in P-shop to do so! LOL Ones that come to mind: like the Benetton B186, with it's colour splashes on white or the 1980's Ferrari's with gold wheels, silver front wing (bare aluminum) and Italian flag colours on the intake also the 1980's Renault F1 race yellow/white/black livery the Tyrell "Candy" 010 car and of course the JPS Lotus in black & gold Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I was just lucky to stumble across the page some more work by the same guy, but showing simply alterations to current F1 liveries, the Ferrari looks pretty cool! Pictures: Improving the look of the 2012 F1 cars - F1 Fanatic Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some of those are real nice. If the cars looked good, both in the shape and the livery, it would do a lot to rekindle interest in F1. Look above and for the most part we are going back to the mid 80's. The peak. My choices - the best ever 86 JPS Lotus, Marlboro Mclaren, 85 Renault (link below), the Williams shown above, the 7up Jordan, the B186 Benetton and the 88 Benetton (pic below), the 88 Camel Honda, the Ferrari above, and the parmalat brabham. I do not know the new rules to know what these new cars will look like, but the length has to be shortened, the billboard fins has to go along with the snow plows. http://www.sportal.bg/uploads/tinymce/2009/BrabhamBT52B5.jpg http://f1-grandprix.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/tambay_monaco85.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/86552444@N05/9137070556/sizes/c/in/photostream/ Image Unavailable, Please Login

F1 should do a "Throw back" like they do in baseball & football. Have them use the livery's for a few races, maybe the whole year.
Hopefully some of these marketing people will see this and start putting designs and color on the cars. The Ferrari looks the best but is retarded with two shields on each side.
Unfortunately someone monkeyed with the Toleman rendition by updating the Candy logo. Always liked the BP Larrousse (with yellow rims) and Kelemata Osella liveries. The West Zakspeed was fairly appealing also
