    Hey,

    I measured a couple of Ferraris in a local showroom and I was surprised that the readouts were ranging from 180-230 on all 812 GTS/SF and SF90. Surprisingly, the inner pillars were below 100 and hood edges 140-160. However, center hood would go up to 220. The readouts were more or less in the same range on all the cars.

    FWIW the rear fender edge (that is flat) gave me a sustainable 180 microns reading. The trunk was usually 140-160.

    My question is: is Ferrari really that generous when it comes to painting their cars, or did my tool give me false positive results due to curves/lack of 100% flat surfaces on those cars?
