    Bingo, and the Opel GT looked nothing in person like it did in the ads. Long, low and sleek in the ads; short, stubby and cheap in person!

    But the Opel didn't really rock until you swapped the original engine with a diesel tractor engine and transmission. I saw one that had been done like that!!!

    Nice effort, but I'm thinking it looks a little bit too Lotus-like.

    One picture suggests that it has a split window like the 63 Corvette, but the other pictures don't indicate that.

    the grill, or lack thereof won't do. looks like a corvette stingray front end with a scoop.

    not crazy about it. Escpecially after seeing the new Cal. Spider they just revealled! Sorry, just my opinion.

    Nice. Looks like a project for a tiny "10 guys build 5 cars a year" manufacturer, and in 30 years it would be a great subject for the "Guess the car" thread. As a GTO...no.

    This isn't anywhere near production ready. for example: how does the bonnet open? E-type style? Where are the windscreen wipers? But mainly: are you ever going to be able to register it with all those structural modifications, like Napolis said in the other thread. That said I really like the concept, apart from the droopy nose.
