I was looking over some TR photos not too long ago and kept thinking of what a bad ass car it was for its time. I remember my jaw dropping every time I saw one. It had those exotic proportions, the proportions that lamborghini still emphasizes yet Ferrari chooses to forget.

To me, in terms of gawk factor (and apparently to everyone else as well consider which car gets most looks side-by-side), the Murcielago has much a much more exotic design and eye-catching proportions than the 599, 612, or 430. It looks like a pancake coming down the road and is nearly as wide, if not wider, than a ford expedition. I remember that the TR has/had a similar effect.

I would love to see a modern interpretation of the TR, assuming they keep the Overall height the same, maybe widen it some, etc.

Curious to see if anyone else shares similar views...?

IMO Ferrari has always produced "normal" looking road cars, the exceptions being the "supercars" F40, F50 and Enzo.I have even heard the Testarossa referred to as the first "supercar" So I think Ferrari is still business as usual with the "exotic" designs. Ferrari road cars are classic designs and don't need "spaceship" designs to grab attention .

i dont think it would be too hard to update the look of the tr's. there was an article of an updated bb in forza last winter that looked like it could compete with the new 430's.

start by smoothing off the side stakes, modern wheels, etc and would be good to go.

I would love to see that. Aside from the F40, the TR was the car I drooled over. Countach was bad ass as well but I always preferred the F-cars
