If you have a K-Jet 308 in California, and you have modified it for more HP, to run better, or whatever, what were your mods and your experiences with getting it to pass smog ?

I have a supercharged QV, with enhanced euro fuel distributor, huge pump, mercedes injectors, modded Turbo Porsche WUR. When I smog it, I pull the blower off, reinstall the original air filter, WUR and frequency valve system (smog device), and catalytic converter exhaust. Then I tune the air / fuel adjustment to a nice 14.7/1 at warm idle. It passes smog every time with flying colors.

Takes me about 4hrs to put the car in "smog mode" and another 4 or so to put it back to supercharged. The trick is to not change the setup of the original WUR and frequency valve/lambda box. Just pull it off and put it in the bottom drawer of the tool chest for reinstall every 2 years. The smog device on the K-jet is designed to keep the air/fuel @ 14.7/1 no matter what, as long as you don't mess with the smog WUR, and you have cats, your golden.
