Is there somebody who has information about this Dino? Who did the modification? Which is the VIN? Where is this car today? "Gatorrari" posted two photos here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=254642&page=4 More photos here: http://www.notbland.com/08fca.htm More here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/oneighturbo/2426406893/in/pool-457528@N24/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
I visited Ferrari of Atlanta in June and saw it on a flat bed being taken for some paint work. Below are all of the photos I took of the car. Having spoken to the service manager I was told that the car belongs to the dealership owner and that it is a standard E series Dino with no competition history. If I remember the story correctly the conversion was done very early in the life of the car and the car 'I believe' was first owned by a well known celebrity from a popular tv show in the 70's. Sorry but for the life of me I can't remember the name and I just don't want to blurt something out I'm not pretty sure about. I did not catch a serial number though. Not for me but the wheels did look pretty cool. Looks like the wheels from a Ferrari 512S http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&sugexp=ppwl&cp=12&gs_id=w&xhr=t&q=ferrari+512s&biw=1152&bih=645&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&wrapid=tljp1321220507422010&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi
The spinner, maybe, but the wheel in one photo says 7 1/2" X 15" which is kind of skinny for a 512. Let's keep trying... Thank you for the great 512 pics! Regards, Alberto
Looks like the knock of wheels Norwood and Carpenter were having forged in the 80-90's for their P4 replicas
