Sorry if this is not the right place to post this. Is it possible to modify a 360 Modena to a 360 CS? Before any of you say it. I like the F1 trans, but I prefer manuals more and I did a search first. I am about to finalize a deal on a 360 coupe. I love the pureness of the CS and I would like to find out if it is possible to make the changes that Ferrari has done to the 360 CS to a 360 Modena. Many thanks up front. Cheers
I know Bradley (Buttaz4Ever) has nearly changed out his entire interior to match a Stradale. It's definitly possible to do but I'm sure it's costly.
I would like to extract the performance increase that the CS has and modify a 360 coupe to the same standards. Is this possible? Where could I find what is needed to be done? Thank you. Cheers
I think you'll find that this is a very expensive thing to change. I'd guess that buying a CS and converting it to 6 speed might even be easier! There are lots of body work changes - front, rear, sills. The whole interior is different apart from the gauges. The engine is internally different (in a subtle way) for an extra 25 (or 9 depending on who you believe) bhp. The suspension is where the feel aspects will mostly come from, but of course all the setttings of this are related to the different aero on the CS. The suspesion is different - different springs (titanium) and different damper settings. The wheels are about 8K and if you want the brakes - then you're really talking some serious $$$... I used to have a 6 speed - which I loved. But I love the CS more. Its truly a great car. I'd say buy the stock car and be happy with it (they're great cars) or stretch the extra 40-80K (depending on what point you're buying at) and get the CS.
It is exspensive for sure and the car will feel nothing like a CS thats for for sure. My car is just lighter then a stock 360 not a rip off of a stradle more like a challenge car carbon fiber interior no carpets no cats wich takes off about 40 pounds alone different mod intake super light another 60 pounds shaved off with out the power seats and switch to racing seats there is not much you can do to modify unless you go for some serious$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ like custom headers a new ECU is like 4 gs and your not gaining enough to feel the difference. also stock exhaust wiegh alot change to tubi . these are just some things you can do do i feel that much of a difference in power Hell no. but its much louder then any CS I have heard inside the cabin and outside. A few of my friends have driven my car and they say its so different then there 360s but i think its just a much rawer feeling thats all not much of a difference in power. You could also get a carbon fiber front bumper and back bumper along with a lexan back window those things will save wieght also wich will make your car faster. hope this helps and Leave the CS to a CS and make your 360 unique not a CS because whatever you do it will never ever feel like a CS.
