I'm pretty sure Gilles Villeneuve died long before that car was even designed! ;)

    Kewl.

Last time I was at MoMa it was on display in the traditional horizontal way.

Reminds of decades ago when Brabham had the BMW turbo: I was at a car show (probably was Geneva) and at the Beemer stand they had the Brabham going up the wall. Was quite fitting for the fire spitting turbos and the pencil rocket design of the time.

I think so too. Like Senna too, but Prost was just always smooth, and always there... at the top from 1981 - 1994 he could have been a 6-7 time WDC if it were not for Renault mechanical issues - and Senna taking him out ....

I consider 1990 a flawed result and am one who beleives that Senna should have been penalized because of the result.

I was/am always a Prost fan. Always cheered for him over Senna.

Prost' style was very different. On the track as well off the track. Some people hated that, some people (like me) loved it.

A few years ago I had the pleasure and honor to meet him in person at a VIP event.

Which driver competing right now would you say is most Prost-like?

    I'm thinking Alonso or Vettel.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

According to Jo Ramirez, it would be Jenson Button, the few times a year that the car is perfect he is untouchable just like Prost was and their driving styles are very similar, smooth and do not look like they are fast even though they are. Jo's critique is that when the car is not perfect (most of the time) their teammate was actually the quicker driver, but when it was set up perfect, because of their smooth driving style they (Prost and Button) would be quicker.

Interesting. Button is one of my favourite drivers too - he's very likeable, both for driving style and personality.

    All the best,
    Andrew.
