    Hi guys,

i'm not sure if there is interested here in a steering wheel like this but i'm posting it anyway and we'll see...

I'm selling one of my most beloved steering wheels from my collection. Reason for that is that i have two of the exact same monza's. Same silver spokes, same period (stacked MO-MO) and same size. Speaking of which, it is a 35cm wheel. Some prefer the larger 37/38cm examples but me personally, i think a 35cm is much nicer for actual use.

While this wheel has the stacked MO-MO on the back of the central spoke, it should be dated somewhere late 60's - early 70's. That means this steering wheel is more or less 45 years old and as such, it isn't new. Having said so, to my experience, this monza shows actually very, very well! I've made several pics showing the condition it is in and if there would be one remark i had to make about the shape, it would be a small nick at about 6 o'clock, just to the right of the central spoke (see pictures 3 and 5, red circle). Other than that, this wheel is showing really well: the leather, the seams, the thread, the spokes... There's not much more i have to say about it, just look at the pictures and see for yourself...

Price: 890€ (~1008$) excluding shipping and paypal costs. Not the cheapest wheel around but this is a monza in great shape. Have a search to see how many of these show up for sale in this condition. Going to the first "I'll take it"...

P.S.: i added a picture with few momo horn buttons. Just to show i have a different horn buttons to offer if a buyer would be interested in one. These aren't for sale seperately and they are not included in the price.

There will be huge interest as its a Ferrari fitment!!

    Not sure which model....

I'll take the MOMO horn buttons ,as Gianpierro Moretti was a hero of mine...well, my first choice would be the "Full arrow" on lower right...

    What's the date stamp??

    Hi Bigtex,

i figured there might be some interest since momo does have a strong historical connection with ferrari.

But to those interested, i'm afraid they are too late since this monza is sold pending payment...

As for the horn buttons, i wasn't planning on selling them seperately but i could sell the one you mention since it is the least special of all four. Actually, i just added that one to fill the 4th hole for the picture... ;) If you are interested in a button like that, i would say it is in your benefit to search ebay for 'momo horn button' as they are being offered new at about 25$.

If you're a Moretti fan, the upper right would be the ultimate horn button for you to own... ;-)

    Ah yes.....

I have three momentoes I hold dear, his close up photo from R&T, wild gray hair, RayBans, cigar, and racing suit (probably Daytona).....a complilation photo montage of the 333SP, the Riley and Scott, and another car.

And finally, when I FAX'd congratulations to him, after winning Daytona, he FAX'd me back the "Thanks from the team!"

    A true class act.

That's cool! A class act indeed...

P.S.: You might want to try and find a moretti steering wheel but they are hard to find! I was lucky when i found mine...
