    Hi All,

My father and grandfather attended the largest Ferrari gathering at the time at the 1985 Monaco GP on the weekend of May 18th 1985 - I can't seem to find any information on this event at all online.

They were planning to attend with their 275 GTB/4.

Would anyone know anything about it or maybe even have seen any photos?

    Thanks,
    Ben

Who was the organiser of that event? Which club?
And which 275 GTB/4 was it? Chassis number? Photo? License plate? Entrant name?

    Hi Marcel,

I don't know the event unfortunately but it might have been organized by Corrado Cupellini.

I can't seem to find any evidence of this event, but they went to an automotive museum in South of France (not sure which one, and couldn't find anything relevant other than Musee Automobile de Provence), then stayed in Antibes and then to the Monaco GP that weekend. Lots of cars from Italy and France.

I actually wanted to speak to you about this car more. Is there a way I can reach out to you? I'm also based in Switzerland.
    My email is [email protected]
I can provide more details of the events as described by my father and grandmother, as my grandfather Gian Carlo passed away a few years ago.

The car was 10861, which was stolen days before while on the trip. My father and grand father were stranded and stayed at Corrado's house in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat that weekend.
The recovery of the car is a great story, which I'm currently in the process of documenting.

    Thanks!
    Ben

10861 was stolen in Cap d'Antibes 17 May 1985 and after recovery in Paris returned to Gian Carlo Comana in June 1986.
The S/N had been changed and Pozzi had to re-number the car correctly. It then went to HK, Australia, Seattle/WA, Switzerland, England.
Prior to Comana's purchase in 1981 it had been with Coetze and then Myburgh in South Africa.

    Thank you for the information!

@Marcel Massini , do you know what chassis number is was renumbered to? or who has the car now?

If anyone knows about the Monaco GP event in 1985 I would be really appreciative.

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Suggest you ask Corrado Cupellini.
