I am looking at possibly going to the Monaco 2012 Grand Prix with my wife and I was wondering if anyone has ever done one of the cruises that stop at the grand prix? We're in the early stages of planning but are not having a lot of luck finding a 7 -10 day cruise that also stops at the grand prix. So I thought I'd check to see if anyone had done this before or had some advice.

This will be our first trip to Europe. We're both working professionals in our mid-twenties so we don't need to go on a college budget but we are looking for something this isn't priced for someone that already owns a Ferrari :).

I've never gone the cruise route, since they usually arrive on Friday evening and I like to get to MC by Wednesday so as to be ready for Thursday morning practice (and lately, the Friday pit walk). I do have friends who've done so though, both on one of the Windstar ships- very nice, but certainbly not for those who aren't already in the Ferrari owner category, as it's pricey. I believe that GP Tours offers such an option- at least they used to.
There's a UK outfit that does inexpensive cruises to the race- I want to say EasyCruise, or something like that. Very basic, but it might fit the bill.

You MIGHT have got away with the spam had you not said "next week" - the race is OVER
