    I heard numerous times that the '16 Monaco GP dates wouldn't interfere with the 100th Anniversary Indy 500 but both are showing May 29th. We are starting to plan the Monaco trip but also wanting to do Indy, so obviously not booking anything yet. Anyone have any insight to the F1 scheduling?

    Monaco is the only fixed date in the calendar. So whatever date the provisional calendar has for it, thats it. Dont worry about Indy.

    Where did you hear that Monaco wouldn't clash?

    Hasn't it been clashing since the 60's?

    I don't recall where it was, but the reasoning was to clear the way for F1 drivers who could/want to run in both and the significance of the 100th Indy. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong

    there are no current F-1 drivers that run or could run at Indy- they would have to have a USAC license... technicaltiy i know... Indy does not have the same luster as it used to have ... courtesy of Mr. Tony George... sadly Indy is a shadow of its former glory.
