Doesn't look too bad, repairable. Think of it this way, with it being a roadster with the top on, we know he wasn't going that fast.

 

It'll be tragic [and stupid] if the car wore summer tires given the weather conditions.

 

tell me this, has the right side of his front bumper actually stuck to the front of the artic??

Shame but could have been alot worse. Saw this car a few years back in the square, very very nice

 

The car crashed in the armco, was bounced back and then hit by a truck!

Saw it on a German tv news report this evening. Unfortunately, I don't understand German.

 

Well it is a shame as you can see they appear to be summer tires...when the temp drops under 40 Degrees..youe all weather tires are like ice skates..never had an issue the last few winters as I place the SNow tires on my car...currently on the LP670-4SV..

You can also note that the Roadster roll-bars popped "up" pushing their way up through the soft top as well..

 

in the text it says the car is totaled.

 

"Totaled" is an insurance company term, and one that is not mutually exclusive to the term "repairable".

 

you know, just because it has AWD doesn't mean it's an all-weather car.... *sigh*

 

I assume that the engine alone is now more worth now than the whole car!

Roy, you get the Pirelli Sottozero winter tires, correct? From what I recall you telling me last year and what an engineer at the factory told me, they are great winter tires.
