Mercedes per AMuS have slightly revised the rear suspension geometry for Monaco.

I also noticed Mercedes are NOT running a overly crazy rear downforce arrangement this weekend....so far. I could be wrong but I suspect they know their mechanical traction is so good around Monaco that they don't want any additional aero pushing down on the back end of the car which could potentially harm the rear tires.

Just read that Alo could be the first driver to win Monaco with three different teams. That would be pretty cool of it happens and if its true.

Lewis Hamilton says Monaco pole would allow him to lead F1 train - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

    From the man himself:

"In 2007 I was second and I could not get past Fernando [Alonso], last year no one could get past [Mark] Webber - it was just a train. You can create a train here."

I seriously do not believe we are going to see any car with serious tire issues in Monaco. The track is much lower temp and as I have stated before, it's just not a circuit where huge deg is seen as it's primarily a mechanical track. Even if Mercedes does win, by no means would I deduce that mean some resolution of tire issues has been realized. This is just a completely different -exciting yet boring- circuit.

I still can't believe Michael pulled pole here last year. Amazing.

I agree with his theory, except that it's possible Lotus and/or Ferrari could end up with a 1-stopper and maintain the same pace as a 2-stopping Mercedes. We will have to see, but I believe that is the wild card.

I definitely see Merc on pole, barring any unforeseen difficulties.

That gurney almost topples over! Downforce much? What's that telescopic thingy on the rear wing?
MSC's pole was awesome, yet sad. Vettel had serious degraded tires but that's cause he was 1 stopping...
Yup, merc has their name written all over pole. Merc should 2 stop and Lotus, with Kimi at least, a 1 stop. If lotus is clever enough and not **** up the pitstop than they have their name on the top step on Sunday...

MB will do well here as the car can't embarrass itself; the 5 or so tech directors working at MB should be happy. Easy to drive wide at Monaco so the race isn't to the swiftest fortunately for the Benz duo.
