That doesn't make it stupid -- that makes it very, very obvious:
At Monaco, Ferrari should have kept their towel handy. ;)

Well I will put your stupid comment with rest of them..you make your own luck ,get over it with your lame excuses there running out.

    Take your pick:
Lewis is a robotic loud mouth whining brat, can't overtake, can only win from the front, can't set his car up, blows off Ron, still learning, only fast because of the car, Just "LUCKY" hyped up by the British press (as if he has anything to do with that )is an idiot, big mouth, no brains... only come 2nd in turk GP because he was fueled light, is not that good a driver without the help of Microsoft Windows doing the throttle modulation....,got a slimy dad

I had a busted watch once and that was right twice a day.

    He has his moments.

But this was the first race Lewis won that wasn't from pole, and he was basically handed this race, when Ferrari decided to put all their spare fuel in Massa's car. ;)

Hamilton is a good driver -- you could tell that from his GP2 days.

But whether he's equal to all the hype ---- that's another question.

(That's one thing about there being no yanks in F1 -- american's' biases about drivers come from something other than nationalism. ;))

I'am not hyping him just stating fact's , If you attribute his form on luck ok, I don't, and in fact I dont believe you do, as you know from GP2.

Yet still it's a back handed compliment, Ferrari handed him the race loading Massa with fuel... I give up. I WILL NEVER WEAR ROSSA TINTED GLASSES.

The only part IMO he got lucky was with his puncture near the Pit's, the rest was down to him.

The kid's good and in the short time he has been in F1 IMO he hasn't done anything to disprove he has a lack of talent end of.

I wasn't saying that you were hyping Lewis -- but his dad and the press sure have been.

And it's pretty obvious that the fuel load Ferrari put into Felipe's car was an utter disaster:
    - Hamilton wasn't catching up Felipe ... Lewis brushed the armco with his tire trying to keep up Felipe's early pace (with a slower car) -- but he waltzed away when Phil was trying to make his tires last 45 laps under heavy fuel, and Lewis could burn his inters off getting to his second stop.
    - Phil put down such fast laps before his stop that he got around Kubica despite the long fueling time. But he couldn't get away from Kubica after being bogged down.

In terms of what Lewis has done wrong -- well, that pit-in fiasco could have been a scripted finale. ;) But last year was Lewis's to lose ... and he did.

That's not a condemnation -- he's young, and he made rookie mistakes. And not too many of those. He's good on the track.
    It's afterwards, ...
Frankly, I think people would like him a lot more if he got a regular manager and stopped being hyped as the "one man show".

Putting aside that i really don't care that you are a LH hatter, because it makes no difference to me anyway. So why the silly ramblings about what you dislike about him> I dont understand?
Also I have never ever made any lame excuses about anything on here, in fact i dont really post on this section. So clearly only you see things the way you want to in your own little world, and if you dont see it you just make it up.
How the hell does any F1 driver make his own complete luck? Explain. How does he controll what might break on his car? How does he controll the actions of others he is racing with? I mean look at the Force India guy that Kimi crashed into, how did he make that bit of bad luck happen? How can a driver controll when or if his tyres are going to burst or not?
Its always been universally known that luck plays a large proportion of being at the top of F1. So which bit of my original response was wrong then? But maybe your little world of Kraftwerk is a different one:rolleyes:

I'd venture to say that there isn't anyone in R&T that outright hates Lewis (Fernando is a different story) but I do know that there are plenty of us that think he is overrated compared to all the PR spin that his dad and the population of Great Britain try to force down everyones throat.

I dont disagree with that, I'am sick of it myself, as a person he seem's a decent bloke to me, but more importantly a brillant up and coming driver awesome, and I would say that about him from where ever he was born or me for that matter,

Another guy I rate very highly is Kubica.

Having said that Britain can blow it's own trumpet, it's not often they have someone to bang on about.

Oh god this is so bloody hard work. Look mate, i can only base my comments about you by what you wrote in this thread. YOU wrote the above in the first highlited quote, so what can one deduce about that? Clearly as i have already pointed out to you, you have the first line wrong because i have never had lame excuses on here ever. And you could not come back with a response when asked to show me were i ever did.
So that leaves the bottom paragraph of your first highlighted response. What does that tell any one like my self that does not know you? It tells anyone including my self that you are a hater, whether you are or not. Its as clear and as simple as that. Now had your response had maybe a wink smiley in it then maybe that may have given a bloody clue into your frame of mind. The same goes for your "luck" comment.
Now being that i can now see it from your point of view because it can be read in two ways. Why cant you grasp how i read your response and see your self that your response can be read two ways?
Show any one who knows nothing about this thread what you wrote above and they would also see the same. I showed my wife what you wrote and her response was that she thought you were hater. Simple. There is nothing in what you wrote that says other, even if you are not. Do you get what i am saying?

Just think - if Lewis was driving a Ferrari, the guy would not have said it was 'luck' at all !

I may be wrong, but didn't some guy in a red car - I don't recall who or in which race - basically crash
out while leading all by himself, with no pressure ? Oh darn, what lousy luck he must of had.. so now what's your excuse ? (sic)
