I heard players are concerned about injuries. I don't want to see injuries though I know some will watch motorsports to see a crash. I say quit your wining. This is a chance to have one you will tell your kids about over and over. It can be a real memorable time and one I would not shy from. in fact, I have war stories and they are the best. I scored the winning touchdown. And this one time... Yada yada yada...
I think the issue was the field is frozen, so there's a higher risk of head injuries. (NFL stadiums have heated fields to prevent freezing, but this game is being played in a college stadium) legitimate concern, IMO.
Weenies. I know the field is frozen. What about hockey? Basketball? Motorsports? I'm just saying I'm glad they're no politicians or lawyers involved. I'm glad to see them playing. The weather is part of it until they are all domed. Remember the fog game? Rain? Snow? I would have to have underArmor though. No bare arms for me. too old now.
there is a reason why the NFL is one of the largest donors to the Parkinson's Foundation.... just sayin'. maybe you should feed some Christians to lions for sport?
I am trying to get one of the networks to use a 'real time' camera on the sidelines. Unless you have been in the game or *ON* the sidelines, you really have NO clue as to the speed or violence in this game, regular TV cameras cannot show it or do it justice in any way, shape or form.
Interesting you should say. I used to work with a guy who was a referee. He elevated from CFL to NFL in the late 90s as a back judge, and the most immediate difference he commented on was the unbelievable speed of the game--especially on a punt or FG, with how quickly the defenders are bearing down on the kicker.
