Mondial 3.2 Cabrio 87 - Idle Air Mainfold defect

Hello,
I had a lot of italian vehicles and a lot had factory defects. This is a very strange case since is a very old car that shoul have this inspected/corrected long ago....

While changing every rubber hose under the plenum, I check the tube that distributes air for idle.
Then I blow air on every tube and connector and found one was shut. Dirt? Rust? a combination of Dirt and Rust?

then blow air with all my strength, nothing...
then used a 90PSI air compressor, but still hut
then used a hidro washer, nothing
then a pin with a hammer, nothing....

I went to the extrem too a drill and a 2.0mm drill bit, and started to "try to remove the dirt there"
No dirt, no rust, just pure, original metal came from this piece....

I will share if, after this change, the car works diferently or not... but you can see the amount of material and the color that came from:
