    Hey guys i have a 1986 mondial 3.2 took car out last week everything running fine this week shifter is hard to move side to side in N and very hard to put in gear but when in gear car goes fine. Please let me know if anyone has had this happen to them and whats the fix. thanks for your time pete_red 60

    Well, its not the clutch if your in neutral and just moving the stick side to side.
    1) Something must have falling in and causing a blockage. 2) broken gears or debris in the stick gear assembly. Take off your gated plate and shine a flash light to have a look. My stick moves loosely side to side in nuetral and you can hear clank clank as it hits the ends. Try that first and report back. Best
