Hello, i wanted to ask if anyone has an idea to solve my electric problem. i have a 348 mondial with an electric leak. i pulled all fuses and relais, still leaking. i pulled off the motronic, checked all ground-cables, took out the radio and antenna, but it was still a leak. did anybody have a hint? thanks a lot for reading.
Burglar alarms are notorious for failing so thats a possible If not have you tried pulling one fuse at a time to try to isolate the leak
Maybe look for old alarm systems, immobilisers, cellphone handsfree kits, audio equipment etc. Some times old equipment gets taken out of use but its too much like hard work to remove it properly from the vehicle & it can be buried in the most awkward places..... Failing that suggest look at the ignition switch. Disconnect the live circuit from that & see what happens.

as i posted before, i am having an electric leak. so i tried all kinds of troubleshooting (see previous post). its not the ignition or electric machine. i found out that some relais of the second smoke systems are still sucking power although i plugged of the motronic system. did anybody had this trouble before? please help....
How bad is the leak? How much time can the car be parked until it won't start? It could be a bad alternator, I once had a bad one on a Fiat that managed to totally drain the battery in less than 24 hours.
Its, been a while - but the problem was that the one of motronicdevices that controls the left/right bank had an error. after replacing it with a new one the problem was solved. found one on ebay.

It would be helpful if you could be a little more specific. Did you change out the chip in the motronics unit? Did you isolate the problem to one motronics it by switching sides and discover the problem switched sides? And then replaced the bad Motronic unit? Thanks for your patience.
It refers to the configuration of the engine a transmission relative to the drive axis which forms a "T" as compared to the transverse configuration in all of the ear.lier Mondials.
