Its official, the check cleared. This one will be on its way to my mechanic soon for belts and a complete check up. FerrariAds.com works. Thanks Bob for the transaction.

Driving impressions will have to wait until October. That's the next time I'm scheduled to be stateside. I think I may have tied a record somewhere. I bought a car sight unseen 8000 miles away.

October... Damn, that's quite some time from now. Are you sure you'll be able to wait 'till then?

    Looks great.

No. I want to drive it now, but I'm over here so that I can pay for the next two.

Interior needs redying at some point. I love the old cars, something about having a mechanical feel to them. That and I can't buy the proper laptop to trouble shoot a new car.

Heck, its not old. Its "a great vintage."

I was thinking about "old cars" the other day... I thought to myself "Could there be a better choice for a great second car / toy than an older vintage Ferrari?" My answer was "no."

I have a hard time thinking of a Mondial 8 as old, or even classic or vintage. I just think of them as "great mid '80's Ferraris." And this one above looks super great.

A GTB and TR are next on the list. The wife's step dad is visiting us in China right now. He's babysitting the Porsche while we're gone, but has told me we're not getting it back. I think I'm going to try rotating through "great mid '80's Ferraris" as my daily drivers.

Yep, its official. I'm nuts. And enjoying ever minute of it...

No, the 365 still knows it has a V12. Very different cars, but both will be driven regularly. Good luck on your 308 project.

    Congratulations!

My neighbor has a convertible and even though he has other cars I see him driving all the time. Even in the snow (although roads cleared)

    He loves his car.

    Good luck!
