i try to use the rheostat located down on the lamp red clock, but not working!!
Causes ? fusebox problems or internal dashboard problem?

Hi, sorry for my poor english, i m french.
First check your fuse but I solved the same problem a few months ago. Indeed, i had a failure on the printed circuit board of the rheostat (the same for odemeter, clock and lights for all internal). One track was broken. So i made a bridge and then it's fine except i couldn't use the rheostat but the light of my dash board is ok.

    exactly!!

not worry for your english! i'm italian (same blood of supercar ) , i check the fusebox, and i find the fuse burned, replace it and after try to turn the key, but not working, after i try to move the rheostat, and after two movements light are back!!
Very strange.... if i use the rheostat the fuse jump!! Strange gremlin!!

My failure becomed with the same symptoms...One track was stick out, so when i touched the reosthat sometimes the lights were ok, and sometimes no. Then the track overheated and broked...so no definitly no lights until i made a bridge

this is another common mondial problem - the light rheostat. It is over sensitive and can easily burn the interior light fuse.
Many people wire around the rheostat like mondial5183 or set it and don't touch it (what I do).

Dont put stronger fuses...it will not help solve your problem...only make it wurs. The internal contacts on your fusebox layers will burn and melt the plastic.
