Can someone provide the part No. for the door window rubber sealing strip as in the picture. The Mondial parts catalogue & FOC Classic parts only show the rear Qtr seals etc. This sealing strip is attached to an alluminum backing strip.

    Thanks, Mike

#60636300 or 60635400 which is part number 23 on TAV108 of the Mondial Parts book

Jimmie your right, I've just mailed Mike the parts manual :)

With work I tend to quickly look it up and then Fax Ferrari UK with details of what it is we need.....suprising how often the parts manuals are wrong!

    mike,
are you tryign to replace the rubber trim strip? or the aluminum strip with the felt that runs against the glass?
the aluminum strip is a PITA to replace, i did it on mine last yr and having worked with these before on the old M5 i had some experiance. the aluminum trim piece and felt seal is all one part. there are plastic clips that hold it to the lip on the door. you'll need to pry the old one off with out damaging the door. the side mirror needs to come off first. once the new one is down it's down, so make sure it's lined up right, pulling it off to realign won't work as it destroys itself upon removal.

the rubber seal can be bought by the foot. tanner has it, that's where i got all my new weather stripping for the mondi8 last yr. cost a pretty penny to replace it all but was well worth in the end. looks a 1000x better

    Scott,
I was hoping just to replace the rubber strip but looking down between the door frame & glass I can see an Aluminium strip you mention, this has detached itself from the door frame & is probably what I hear rattling when I close the door. I'll remove the inner door panels & take a closer look.

    Thanx for the info.

    Mike

the door panel is three parts, first remove the center section and slide it out towards the rear of the car. this will expose the screws holding the top section and bottom. you can now remove the top leaving the bottom attached.

you'll need a large head phillips so as not to strip the screw head.
