Hi boys and girls! Just picked up a Cabrio Mondial 1983 and am looking into replacing the wheels but keeping the originals.

I really like the look of this Mondial with this set of wheels, so was thinking something along those lines, but basically open to other options.

Anyone haas leads and info on what has worked on not? I saw some threads, but mainly on the aftermarket 16" which is not what I am really looking for right now.

I am in Northern California, thanks!

I have seen some references to Image Wheels, for example these ones:
    billet 11
    billet 47

    Supposedly they have different sizes.

    Bas thank you!

I just came across a set of 348's that seem in good shape, but really dig teh star pattern more, like this:

Any idea what wheels are these?

    Thanks!

There is a tire shop. a less than desirable location; however I've been going to it for years. The name is Sierra tire in sacramento. the owner's is name is Carlos. The phone # (916) 383-9528. Tell him you are a friend of the Colonel. He hooked me up with both wheels and tires at a very reasonable price.

i just did a set of 360 wheels on my 88 cab.

    fit perfect.

just need to get the 360 lug bolts..the std mondial bolts are not long enough

    no spacers/anything required

a set is up for sale on the ferrari club of america under classifieds for $900.

    a no brainer!

I put the 17 inch 348 wheels on my 3.2 and bought brand new bolts from Hills Engineering and no problems at all. With that you have a great choice of modern tires and brands available. I also bought brand new Continental Contact Sport 3 tires with the correct 348 size fitting so i know they are ok.
Not sure if the bolts are the 53 or 55mm but they are definitely longer than what i had on the original TRX wheels.

Only yesterday i recieved truck load of the 240/55VR390 Michelin TRX that were original equipment on the Ferrari Mondial
these are brand new tyres, so the rubber is fresh, and they are made with modern upto date compounds. However the Michelin TRX Tyres and rim combination is still exceptionally clever.
