Hello all, I happily own a Mondial 3.2 cabriolet. But a downside of my car is the noise the roof makes when it is up. It starts around 140km/h, but driving >200km/h leads to deafening whistles. They seem to come from the frontside of the roof. A 1986 review of the car already mentions this, so they tested the top speed with te top down. In the forums however I read different experiences with wind noise. Has someone worked on this and got results with this? I'd love to hear them. Wim
I have this problem. I fixed it by buying 1/4 inch weather stripping from the hardware store. I used it the whole length of the windshield, so when I closed the top, pushed it into place. That, plus making sure the screws are tight, should fix your problem.
