I know I have said this a hundred times, but it happened AGAIN today: I lowered both of my windows for the ride home. When I got home, the drivers side window would not go up - nothing. Usual litany: 1. checked the fuse - ok 2. swapped relay - still no work Key in off position. Sprayed (liberally) some Radio Shack electrical contact cleaner ($11 !!) into the sides of the switch from above, then cycled the switch back and forth for about 3-5 minutes. Turned the key on and - Woo-Hoo! The window now works again. I hope this saves someone from trying to replace the switch or tear open a door to replace a motor unneccesarily. Lesson: a can of spray contact cleaner should be carried in a Mondial at all times.
