Does anyone know of a rubber kit for these, possibly from an Alfa or Lancia? These CAN'T be Ferrari specific.. this part must have been from something else. I just need the rubbers so I can rebuild it.

    Thank you!!

I have a pic of the master, but not of just the piston, I don't think that would help though.

Yeah, I did the slave - it's the master I'm more concerned about. I used AW for the slave, very good stuff. I cannot find the rubbers for the master at ALL. I read through the whole post but didn't find any info. on the master. It's a benditalia, who knows maybe that guy who got the o-rings for the slave can get them for the master.

My rubers for both car are fine, I just TRY to change them "as I was there..."
Those rubbers are PURE UNOBTAINIUM and I really really did try find them...

There are 17mm Alfa-stuff, but if I remember right, Mondial sylinder bore was 18mm, can you confirm?

I don't want to pull mine apart until I have the rubbers or cylinder so do either of you have the numbers off the actual rubber? I have to believe that an Alfa, Lancia, or Fiat will fit. it would amaze me if they were unique to Ferrari as that would make the spares inventory a real challenge.

Is'nt there any number on the rubbers ? There are almost always numbers to trace them.
If not, can you give us the exact diameter of the metal inner cilinder in mm and the diameters of the piston outer in mm (of that places where the rubbers are).
    Thanks...

I'm guessing from your post that you may have access to matching the rubbers up to something equivalent? If you have a number off the rubber and the sizes you are looking for how sure are you can match them? If this is the case then what would your turnaround time be on this?

Bore has to be 18mm (This is mesurment I am not sure, but it has to, right?) Does thread starter have one open sylinder in hand?

Seal with lip is: inner thicknes of piston is 4.75mm

"Donut, with smooth sides" -seal: Piston thickness is 9.8mm

No number, no nothing... Would 105-serrie Alfa have same "lip" seal?

To find the right seal (with lip) I realy need do know those mesurments : Isent it possible for you to open the master clutch ?

    Bore of the clutchcilinder...
Diameter of the piston where seal with lip is ...from my mesurment on the picture it is about 11 mm..
Tickness of the seal or opening where the seal with lip is placed.

For the donut seal I need the inner diameter and tickness of the seal or opening where this seal is placed.

When I get those mesurments, I will look to trace them and let you know.

Thanks for your time Guido, I fully understand what measurements you are looking for.

    Mikael:
    - Is your Master out of the car?
    - Can you take the measurements Guido is looking for?

If not, I am currently travelling and will look to remove mine when I return and then I will post the details.

"Off the top of my head I seem to recall", aint good enough to trace the right seals.
We realy need the exact mesurments. Thats how I traced the slave cilinder seals.

    What?

Why would you respond with a semi-rude and strange answer like that? Someone offers some helpful advice you say something like "Thanks for the link and ideas, we'll try to narrow it down further" You don't say "that ain't good enough."

    Get a clue man.

No... Those pictures are from years ago, since I did not foud seals I just put it all in again. They where fine, I just changed slavesylinder selas and thought "as I was there", btw Toyota seals works fine at slavesylinder. :D I those pictures are from 3.2cab 30tkm's on it

No... I can't make mesurments, sorry. I know, I should write down these things. Now I have two F-cars under work and one L-car under some service and would not like start tear down more cars, sorry.

It would be nice if someone has bad seals and has to pull sylinder out.

    Mr. Richard,

    Mondial8/308/328 WSM says;

    Page E5 gives:

    Piston Diameter = 11/16" (17.46 mm)

    Total Stroke = 30 mm

for the (clutch) "Hydraulic Drive Pump" (aka the Clutch Master Cylinder).

I have NEW one wrapped in plastic by Italian Elves.
(The Brake Masters have the size stamped on the end, I wonder if Benditalia did this on the Clutch Masters...? Maybe, I can see the numbers through the shrink wrap.)

BTW this spare Clutch Master can be yours, , , ,PM me.
