Pics from the Mondial East Coast Gathering. We had a great time. Sam our moderator for the NY section arranged a great Run out East (ROE V) to a Li winery (Sam's car is the nice Red Mondi 8, mine is the silver Mondi 8.) There were also about 80 other cars in attendance but no one noticed them! Hi Doug, Sam, Ed P. and the mysterious owner of the other red cab - I'm sorry that my '85 Mondial Qv Cab couldn't be in attendance that weekend for the ROE V. I had an out of town appointment that I couldn't miss. The worst part is that I live only 1 mile from the winery! Here's a picture of mine in it's natural habitat (OK, so it's at the end of my road). Yes, that's Cutchogue - same town as the winery. Which makes me wonder... Does anyone know what the most Mondials ever at a single gathering is? If I made the ROE V it looks like we'd make 5. Hi Jon, The most I have seen is 4. ROE V and once at Captree we had Ed's 3.2, Sam's and My 8, and another 8. 3 Mondi 8s together, silver, red and yellow was very interesting. Maybe we can set something up at OBI (if I still have the Mondi, that's another story) With the two of us, Sam, Ed and Buzz. What do you think guys? MondiFest 2007! According to my records, there are 14 Mondial fchatters within an hour of NYC. I think the majority are in metro NYC or LI. What would be a good setting for a MondiFest?
