'84 Mondial cab. Never quite got around to trouble shooting the instrument lights which went out a couple months back. Then tonight had a very pleasant 15 mile drive to dinner, a great steak, came back out two hours later, started the car. Then, because it was dark, turned on the headlights. As soon as I twisted the stalk, the engine stopped, and all electrical everything ceased to function in the car. No fuel pump, no radio, no headlights, no brake lights, no little lights in the doors, no blower, nada. There was no loud pop, no puff of smoke, nothing. Flashlight inspection of fuse box showed nothing amiss.

It's towed to the shop now, but any ideas?

    Fusebox/fusebox connectors.

The Mondial Rule: If you have not upgraded your fusebox to one with the new tech circuitry, the original will eventually fail.
