So I finally did it, after 3 years of pondering and deciding on which exhaust to choose I finally chose and installed a STEBRO on my 84 Euro Mondial.

    IT F&^*%ING SOUNDS GREAT.

It has completly enhanced my driving experience. WHAT A SOUND!

It had a nice sound to begin, but now it just growls and screams at any RPM.

I've also noticed a bit of acceleration. (but that can all be in my head...)

The owner Dan and the boys at Stebro were friggin amazing to deal with and they really know there stuff. I had them do the install and let me tell you, I would recommend both the exhaust and the guys to anybody.

I've never even taken out the inserts yet. Anyone else have such a difference in there car after changing a muffler.

I'm just giddy and can't wait to take her out during GP week-end here in MTL.

The car always got the looks, but now, with the new exhausts its also got the sound, and let me tell you, if the peoples heads did not turn because they did not see the car, it will now when they hear it. :)

That is great. Nice upgrade. I had a Stebro & really approved of it. Never did put inserts in it. Nice enough product. It took a little skill to install, but really nothing a seasoned home mechanic couldn’t handle. Additionally, there are fair power gains to be had. Good for you.

if you have the opportunity for them to do the work for you locally, that's a great benefit... no delays in shipping, no potential model mis-match, etc. I got a Stebro for my 308QV and it's GREAT. Quick shipment, no damage, dropped right in. Dan is very helpful.
Wait until you DO that those inserts out... REALLY AMAZING. If it's too loud for you (or your neighbors) you can go "inbetween" by using 4 short inserts instead of 2 short and two long. I like that much better when I'm not wide open! I suspect you will too. The extra inserts aren't expensive.

Oh, and if you're an FCA member, tell Dan you want your 10% Ferrari Club Member discount... that's something I negotiated for a members a few years ago, but I know it's still good, as I just ordered something from them last week. But you DO have to ask for it! Tell DAN that 'Mike Charness' sent you!

I get compliments all the time that my exhaust is the best sounding 308 they've ever heard (that's usually with the open tips!).

I will try that this week-end. The day it stopped raining I took the car out and could no longer get it in gear. The slave is finished. Ordered the new piece and should get it before the week-end.

My car seems to be F1 shy, every year at this time it screws up on me.
