We've all seen the "Charness Harness" and other options for the 308/328 cars, but they don't have their seat rails raised up off the floor like a Mondial. So here's what I did to make a bracket for the Mondial. I bought a nice aluminum bracket made for a Viper from www.speedtactics.com.

Then I bought some L-shaped corner braces and bolts and nuts from the hardware store. I cut one corner brace so it was straight, and drilled three holes in it - two for the bolts I wanted to connect to the bracket and one for the seat mounting bolt to go through. I then used the L shape of the other corner bracket to reach the other seat rail, and cut off the excess. I drilled that one for the two bolts and the seat rail bolt, and then hit both pieces with primer and paint.

The Viper bracket drops down about 1" from the seat rails, which isn't all the way to the floor. I liked that because you can get your floor mats in and out without removing the bracket. I also used long screws to attach the red extinguisher bracket to the Speedtactics bracket so that they extended down enough to touch the floor mat. (I'm going to put some rubber pads on the ends of the screws when I find the right size.) That way the bracket doesn't bounce or vibrate because it isn't floating - it does have some support underneath. You just have to lift it up slightly to remove the floor mat.

I also made sure that there was plenty of seat travel so my kids could still sit in the back seat, and the way this is set up the seat moves almost all the way forward if needed.

It wasn't the cheapest way to go, but for a guy without any welding experience and who wanted something that would look pretty clean in the car this worked for me. Just FYI as an alternative idea for the Mondial folks out there.
