Mondial First and Reverse

Lost these two gears a couple of weeks ago (careless I know!) and thought, having read about this on here, that there was wear in some bushes or similar. Nope, my mechanic brought the car back today saying that he had cut the control rod near the engine bay end, turned it 10 degrees and rewelded it. Seems over the years the rod had twisted! All good now and the gears (all of them) slot better now than in any time of my ten years ownership. Also a big thanks to Ricambi for sending the large electrical connector for the fuse board (the one that burns out on the A/C and Fuel Pump) all fitted and everything works just as it should. Cheers.
