    hi,
I must change the lamp at the front fog light. i the use manual, there is nothing about how to get off the cover glass of it. I unscrewed the other light cover, the upper one (turning, day light,...) but this big down glass remain in position. I have tryed to pull it a little, but it seems to be well fixed around the inside black plastic body. I inspect it carrefullly but there are no other screws on this part. I dont want to pull harder, before to know the right procedure. thanx for help. i searched for an existing subject, but did not find any.

I seem to remember that the glass seal is just stuck and pulling a little harder on one edge willl free it BUT, that's possibly a faulty memory as I haven't opened my Mondial's lights for years. Best to wait for newer advice as replacement lenses are not cheap

Oliver, those lights are in 1 piece. The only thing you can take of is the upper plastic cover. The whole box is fixed with 1 bolt at the rear. You can go there true the grill and you will feel this bolt. The other side of the box is clicked in to a plastic holder. Before changing this lamp, test if the electrical contact behind the box are ok. Mostly there are bad contacts. Or the negatif wire to the chassis in that area....

See also this diagram : look at those prices for the whole box...so be carefull...

Richard, thx for the advise. 725euros ! the price of a second hand average car.
what i would like also is to clean the interior of the glass. i have seen that, even the part is closed, there is a little dust inside ( and on the lamps also).
i have done this treatmet to the upper box and now it is very clean.

Olivier, this can only be done trough the little hole where the lamp fits.

The miror inside is a VERY FINE layer of polished silver. Any contact with water, soap or other abrasif products will destroy the miror. You can try to use soft cotton with some silverpolish...but I dont garanty it will work.

The glass inside you can clean with cotton on a plastic stic and alcool or methanol but dont touch the miror with it.

This bulb can also be changed without taking the entire box. In the back of the box there is a plastic cover with 2 little screws.
The bulb is secured with a circlips comon like other bulbs.
The other picture shows that bolt that is holding the box in place.
The direction of the light can be changed also. There is a screw that let the miror turning his direction. Low/high and left/right.
