    I understand the Mondial heater valve is sourced from another car,any idea which one?I have tried the search function,but come up with nothing.

    Its a T,but I thought they all used the same valve.

    The QV, 3.2, and t use the same one, but the 8 has a different one.

    Brian B. and Brian K. suggest some other marques that use the same/similar Bosch valve as a t. (Brian B. also gives a good description of how to use a simple 12V bulb to confirm/deny if the electrical drive signals going to the valve are as they should be.)

    For the 3.2 at least, it should be the same as a BMW of the same era. Try this:

    It is rebuildable--if you can get the thing out. I did it in my odler 5-series where ti took all of about 10-minutes. On the Mondial it will probably be 10-minutes as well after the 4-hours it takes to remove the valve for access.
