I have decided that I am going to better use of my Mondial, and although it's never let me down (close a few times ) I want to update and replace any weak elements. I am thinkung that I would like to change the Ignition boxes. I have done a bit of research and have heard Magasquire mentioned a few times. It seems like a real DIY job. I am a reasonable DIYer but would like to hear about any experience people hav had with this system, construction issues, set up testing and programming etc. It only my intention to chnage the ignition and leave the Injection system alone.
    Your thoughts will be appreciated.

You're referring to Megasquirt (not Magasquire, I assume). Yes, very DIY. I'm not all that familiar with the latest version (or previous for that matter). Not sure if it will be as sophisticated as you/some might want. I like the Electromotive XDI (or XDI2) but it's a lot more $$$. On the other hand a sucessful install/calibration of a Megasquirt system would give a lot more satisfaction from a DIY point of view.

I went with the Electromotive Xdi. Not too badly priced with the Dollar as it has been compared to Sterling.
