Who was in the Mondial at Barnes & Noble in Lubbock today during lunch time?? No, it wasn't us - ours is in our shop (giant garage) by the house.

I goofed on the time when I told Carol about the car. It was actually closer to 6:30 p.m. I didn't get a close look at it as I was about half way across the parking lot as it backed out of a parking place in front of the book store and exited the shopping center to head east. It was a red coupe and had the trapazoid intakes on the sides, but I don't know if it was an "8" or 3.2. Looked and sounded nice. Just wish I had been close enough to intercept the driver before he or she left. First F-car I've seen in Lubbock.

John...there's a 348 speciale in Lubbock I know of. It's Jim Riggs here on F-chat. And there's a 348 "very speciale" (at least to me) 100 mile or so north, in big AMA. In Amarillo, I know of:

    1 Dino
    1 TR
    1 F355
    2 360 Modenas
2 328's (one of which is for sale at a pretty good price)
    1 348 (mine - see attached)

Jim Sexton of Sexton Automotive has a chocolate brown 355 spider. I see it pretty often since his shop is just down the street from my work. I work on Dr. Bricker's red 355 spider occasionally.

I have seen the red TR. The gentleman that drives it has snow white hair and seems very friendly (always waves back)

The Mondial is often in my neighborhood. I see it every so often when I run. I have not had the nerve to knock on the door and meet the owner. I don't think the owner lives at the house as it is usually parked in the street like they are visiting.

There was a red 308 in the showroom at Classic Motors a few months back. It was pretty rough and had been neglected for awhile. I don't know what happened to it.

I haven't seen any 328's or our local 348, although I would love to do so. I certainly haven't seen a 360. I would probably jump around like an idiot if I saw one in Lubbock.

Here is Dr. Bricker's 355 on my lift at work.

It is a strange color. I will try and get a picture of it and post it. I don't know enough to say the color is OE, but it appears to be.

Hi, I live in Lubbock now also. Mr. Sexton's car is silver, atleast I thought it was silver with red interior. I work at Enterprise Rent A Car and I rented a car to a man named Kent Clark that has a 308. He said that he lives off of 95th and Memphis...he also said that he has owned the car since it was new, it is a 78 model gts. He seemed pretty cool.

It is cool to see Ferrari enthusiast in West Texas!!!

Justin, you know Matt Dowell? He's a buddy of mine from Tech, also worked at Enterprise...

This caught my eye. I live in NY, but have visited family in Lubbock about 10 times in the last 15 years. Don't recall ever seeing an f car there.

FarmerDave, The name doesn't ring a bell. He may have started at Enterprise and went onto something else before I started. There is quite a bit of turnover here at West Texas Enterprise. I also saw a red mondial a few days ago. Nice car!

Justin is correct. I test drove a car today past Sextons business and his 355 was parked in front. I went back to work and got my digital camera and shot a picture.

The car is definitely silver. Everytime I saw the car going past my store in the mornings, I would have sworn it was brown. It appears I am quite deluded.

Anyway, here is aquick shot I took.

Thanks for the info. I've worked in Lubbock for around 6 years and the Mondial is the first F-car I've seen. Sure was nice to see one out running around.
