Hi, I've got a '82 Mondial QV and was wondering if the oil consumption of it is normal compared to others. I have to put in one extra liter per 500km. I've driven about 1000km with it and this is the second time I had put in an extra liter. What are your averages? Thanks for letting me know, Stefan from Belgium, Europe
mine too is an 82 and I guess I use a litre per 1200 km or so, depends how I've driven it, tracking uses a lot more mainly due to it coming out of the oil pipe when cornering really hard!! I've got 69,000 miles and jusr did all of the top end seals, O rings and gasgets, oil consumption down quite a lot.
