Mondial owners (with 348 wheels) Help!

SNJ5 (russ) has been very helpful previously recommending tyres and suspension setup info for my 3.2 cab cw with 348 wheels (which i desperatly want to keep on the car).
Im finding my Pzeros on the front (215/50/zr17) are still very heavy and have just had the tracking reset back from approx +3 to + 1 (which has cured it being dangerously twitchy!) but in doing so have found that the camber shims on one side are different to the other giving over 1.5 degree of positive difference on the offside.
If any one out there has the same wheels on thier mondial (negative power steering you lucky 3.4 owners!) please be so kind as to provide me with a definitive opinion on the optimal setup for these wheels on this car.

PS Russ i cant get hold of Pilot AS Sports now and am possibly about to by Kuhmos for the front after having them fitted on the rear for a while (and theyre half the price @ about £72 each).
